Candidates will be responsible for producing an IIS prototype to provide a ‘proof of concept’ for proposed solution as well as high-level technical design of new system and its processes.
Candidates should have the following attributes:
IIS expert with proven experience of ETL development in a number of different technical architectures.
At least 4 years proven experience in IBM IIS Datastage v7.5.
Proven experience of IBM IIS Datastage v8.0 would be an advantage.
Proven experience in Oracle and DB2 databases/load processes/extraction processes.
Proven experience of VSAM mainframe data sources/extraction processes.
Proven experience of relational and star schema data models.
Proven experience in IT systems process analysis.
Proven ability to quickly understand numerous different data sources, identify the various possible extraction processes for each data source, identify the various possible data transformation options and identify the various possible data target load options.
