I have updated cpl's guide to living and working in Ireland. I am waiting for our IT guys to post it to cpl's website at which point I will post the link here, but some interesting facts emerge. Firstly - here is a graph of Ireland's unemployment rate - staggering when you consider it was nearly 3 times its current level 10 years ago. If you want to see the graph a bit clearer, click the thumbnail below and it will open the full sized graph for you:
Other additions/amendments include:
- An updated work permits section.
- An updated Working Holiday Authorisation Visa section.
- A new section on Employment Permit information for Bulgarian and Romanian nationals.
- An updated Income Tax Section.
- An updated Income Rent Relief Section.
- An updated Accommodation info. section, especially rents and house prices, and
- An updated cost of living section.
I'll post the link to the new document as soon as it is available.
